Banri arrives at the Golden Time restaurant, where the Festival Club is preparing for a meeting at the Fireworks Extravaganza, and the club members are oddly welcoming and strangely kind, which makes Banri feel uneasy. He realizes they are trying to console him after his supposed breakup with Kōko. But when Kōko arrives, they clarify the confusion, only to create a new misunderstanding with the former fourth-year members. Linda also arrives later, and Linda, Kōko, and Banri discuss the accident. Banri asks how she found out about it, considering he was out of town, but Linda responds vaguely. Then, Linda asks if Banri will be going home, and he says yes, so Linda mentions that there will be a class reunion and wonders if Banri will come. After Kōko makes the decision for him, Kōko and Banri discuss how Banri is ready to face his past after they had a sincere argument earlier, and Kōko admits that her love for Banri has grown even more after that fight and encourages him to go home. The next day, Banri is on a train heading home. Meanwhile, Chinami had invited Kōko to help her unpack, and she invites Kōko to stay overnight, but although Kōko denies coming to help and says she won't stay, she gives in. Chinami then reveals how much she respects her love for Banri. Elsewhere, at the club where Linda works, Mitsuo and Linda are talking while she cleans, and Mitsuo asks her if it was a bad idea to tell him about the accident. Mitsuo then discovers that Linda will also be leaving, just like Banri, and then sees her train tickets going to the same place as Banri, but when he presses her a little about it and tries to flirt playfully, Linda leaves upset. The next day, 2D, Kōko, and Mitsuo enjoy a treat at a café, and Mitsuo and 2D discuss what they think they know about Banri's true situation with amnesia. When Mitsuo asks Kōko about it, she avoids the question and focuses on other things, leaving Mitsuo to ponder this new knowledge.
